(London) -- One of Francis Bacon's most celebrated portraits is expected to sell for almost 50-million-dollars at auction. The "Portrait of George Dyer Talking" is a famous depiction of the artist's lover and muse. It will be sold at the Post-War and Contemporary Art Evening Auction in London next month. The portrait was last auctioned in 2000 at Christie's in New York. It went for close to seven-million-dollars. A Bacon triptych broke an auction record last year when it sold for more than 140-million-dollars.
