Dayton Changes Medical Marijuana Stance
(St. Paul, MN) -- Minnesota could soon become the latest state to legalize medical marijuana after Governor Dayton changed his position on the issue yesterday. Dayton met with several people who had been demonstrating outside of his home on Summit Avenue yesterday, still in a cast from hip surgery. After hearing their stories about the pain they're in and what legalizing medicinal weed could do, the "Minneapolis Star Tribune" reports he called on top administration officials to work out a compromise with lawmakers.
