(Minneapolis, MN) -- Dangerously cold weather has schools closed throughout the state today. The closures include Minneapolis, St. Paul and Anoka-Hennepin, all of which announced they wouldn't be open today yesterday afternoon. The National Weather Service has a windchill warning in effect for Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin and North and South Dakota through noon. Windchill readings are expected to be as cold as 35 below, which could cause frostbite within ten minutes.
