(Washington, DC) -- The Obama administration is cutting ties with the company who built the trouble-plagued health insurance website. Health officials are preparing to replace CGI Federal, the main IT contractor responsible for the operation of HealthCare.gov, with Accenture, one of the world's largest consulting firms. Sources say the change is being made after it was determined that CGI hasn't been effective enough in fixing the problems that plagued the start up of the website. Accenture built California's new health insurance exchange, which has been working relatively smoothly since its launch.
