Boehner Pressed On Deregulation After West VA Chem Spill

(Washington, DC) -- Republican House Speaker John Boehner is defending deregulation in the wake of the chemical spill in West Virginia. In a Capitol news briefing, Boehner says there are ample regulations already on the books. He said Republicans want to eliminate industry regulations that are cumbersome, "over the top" and which cost the economy jobs. With existing regulations in place, Boehner said someone should be held accountable for the West Virginia situation. West Virginia officials say they are unsure when the water will be back on for most of those affected by last week's chemical spill.
