(Detroit, MI) -- Members of the Insane Clown Posse are taking the federal government to task over the labeling of the duo's followers as a "loosely organized hybrid gang." The rap outfit comprised of Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope have filed a lawsuit in Detroit, accusing the Justice Department and the FBI of "unwarranted" harassment of their fans, known as Juggalos. Several fans are also party to the lawsuit and have cited examples of being singled out by law enforcement because of their Insane Clown Posse clothing, face paint and tattoos. ICP admits that some of their fans may have broken laws in the past but say it's "wrong to designate the entire group of supporters as a criminal gang based on the acts of a few."
