(Washington, DC) -- Secretary of State John Kerry is firing another verbal warning shot at Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
At the State Department, Kerry warned that a bloody civil war will go on if Assad stays. Earlier this week, Kerry urged Syrian opposition groups to attend upcoming talks in Geneva. He called the Syrian civil war a severe humanitarian disaster and warned that Syria has become a magnet for terrorists. Kerry argued that the Syrian people must ultimately determine the future of their country.
Kerry suggested Assad is trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the Syrian people.
