(Columbia, MD) -- Police in Maryland tonight say the 19-year-old who carried out yesterday's deadly shooting at the Columbia Mall had some crude homemade explosives inside his backpack. Howard County Police Chief Bill McMahon says Darion Marcus Aguliar entered the mall near a skateboarding store, then went to the food court, returned to the skate-store and began shooting. Investigators have not established any relationship between Aguilar and his two victims. Twenty-one-year-old Brianna Benlolo and 25-year-old Tyler Johnson died after being shot inside the skate-store. Aguliar then took his own life. Police say Aguliar has no criminal record.
