City Of Ferguson Pleads For Calm

(Ferguson, MO) -- After a night of gunfire, teargas and utter chaos in Ferguson, Missouri, city officials are pleading with the community for "nighttime quiet and reconciliation." Jail records show that 78 arrests were made on Monday night as protesters continue to clash with authorities more than a week after unarmed teenager Michael Brown was shot at least six times by officer Darren Wilson. National Guard troops were on hand as unruly rioters were met by armored vehicles and riot police firing tear gas and stun grenades. A grand jury is expected to start hearing evidence on Wednesday from the state's prosecuting attorney Bob McCulloch.
