(Trenton, NJ) -- New Jersey Governor Chris Christie says he fully embraces a report that absolves him of involvement in Bridgegate.
Christie has denied any sort of involvement in the closure of the George Washington Bridge in September that tied up traffic at Fort Lee. The report finds that two of Christie's staffers were behind the closures. In an announcement today, Christie said Port Authority Chairman David Samson has resigned. He also said that he'll aggressively pursue the reform recommendations outlined in the report.
