China Labels iPhone A Security Threat
(Beijing) -- China is calling the iPhone a security threat. Today, a report on state-run China Central Television called a location-tracking function of Apple's iPhone a "national security concern." The iPhone function tracks and records the time and location of the owner's movements. The Chinese TV report quoted researchers who said people with access to those data points could gain broader knowledge about China or "even state secrets."
