(Minneapolis, MN) -- The seats are out, and now the roof is down for the last time at the Metrodome. It was deflated Saturday morning as work is underway to tear down the stadium, which opened in 1982. The Minnesota Twins moved out for the 2009 season, while the University of Minnesota exited for TCF Bank Stadium that same fall. The Vikings will share Gophers' home stadium while a new billion-dollar NFL stadium is built on the same site of the Metrodome.
