(Atlanta, GA) -- New Jersey has the highest autism rate in the nation at one in 45 children. The CDC says nationally one in 68 children has an autism spectrum disorder. That's a startling increase of about 30-percent from just two years ago. Boys are five times more likely to be labeled with ASD than girls. The updated figures come just days before Autism Awareness Month begins in April.
