(Los Angeles, CA) -- Disney's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is setting an April box office record. The superhero film starring Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson earned 96-million dollars during its debut weekend at theaters in the U.S. and Canada. In the process, the Marvel thriller easily outdistanced the previous record-holder. "Fast Five" made 86-million dollars during its initial weekend in April of 2011. In second place was the biblical epic "Noah." It had a take of 17-million dollars.
