(Atlanta, GA) -- The California patient who had recently returned from West Africa is Ebola-free. Test results on the unidentified patient have come up negative for the deadly virus. The results were delivered by the Centers for Disease Control Thursday. Earlier, two patients who were being treated for Ebola were released from Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. Missionaries Dr. Kent Brantly and Nancy Writebol contracted the virus while treating patients in Liberia. The CDC says both Brantly and Writebol no longer have Ebola virus in their blood and pose no risk to the public.
