(Sacramento, CA) -- The number of deaths in California attributed to the flu is now topping 200. California Department of Public Health director Dr. Ron Chapman said today the number of confirmed flu-related deaths in the state has risen to a total of 202 this season. Four of those fatal cases are pediatric deaths. Chapman says there are an additional 41 deaths under investigation and they are not yet confirmed as being connected to the flu.
