Police: Suspect In High School Shooting Dead

(Centennial, CO) -- Police say the suspect in the shooting at Arapahoe High School in Colorado is dead.
Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson said the student identified a specific teacher that he was interested in confronting. That teacher escaped the scene.

Robinson said the suspect was a student at the high school in Centennial. He was armed with a shotgun. Two other students were shot. One is hospitalized in critical condition while the other is said to have minor injuries.

Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper is describing Friday's shooting at a Colorado high school as an "unspeakable horror." In a statement, he said no child or family should have to endure such an event. Hickenlooper said the state's thoughts and prayers are with the Araphaoe High School community. He added his thanks for law enforcement for their quick work.
