(Fort Hood, TX) -- The building where the Fort Hood shooting massacre took place is gone. Army officials in Texas say the facility was razed yesterday and it will be replaced with a memorial honoring those who were injured or killed. In November of 2009, Major Nidal Hasan entered the building carrying two weapons and shouted "Allahu Akbar," which roughly translates to "God is great." Hasan shot and killed 13 people and wounded more than 30. He's jailed at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas awaiting execution.
