(Bronx, NY) -- A great-grandmother in the Bronx is two-million-dollars richer because she believes in fortune cookies. Instead of throwing out the slip of paper inside the cookie that came with her lo mein, Emma Duvoll decided to play the numbers on it in a Powerball lottery. Birthdays and anniversaries hadn't worked in the past so she was ready for a new approach. The fortune cookie slip brought the 75-year-old a fortune when she hit five numbers on February 1st. Duvoll says while she doesn't expect the windfall to change her life, she'll use some of it to pay for a trip to Switzerland with her husband.
