(San Antonio, TX) -- U.S. Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl is in stable condition at a military medical center in Texas. Colonel Ronald Wool said doctors are pleased with Bergdahl's physical state. Members of his family are not with him. General JosephDiSalvo said it will be up to Bergdahl to decide when he feels comfortable reuniting with his family. Bergdahl was transferred from a U.S. military hospital in Europe after being released in a controversial prisoner exchange for five Taliban commanders.
