Bergdahl Continues Recovery In U.S. Military Hospital

(San Antonio, TX) -- U.S. Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl continues recovering at an Army military medical center in Texas. Bergdahl was transferred from a U.S. military hospital in Europe after being released in a controversial prisoner exchange for five Taliban commanders. Major General Joseph DiSalvo was one of the first people to see him overnight.
DiSalvo says Bergdahl is in stable condition. Bergdahl had been held by the Taliban for five years.
