(New York, NY) -- JPMorgan Chase is limiting the use of debit cards by Target shoppers following the retailer's massive security breach. The bank notified customers who recently used their cards at the retail chain that their daily card use will be capped. At-risk customers cannot withdrawal more than 100 dollars each day, and daily purchases are being limited to 300 dollars. The limit does not apply to credit cards. The new guidelines effect around two-million accounts, which is less than ten percent of Chase debit cardholders. The bank says it is taking action as a precaution following the systems breach at Target.
