(Miami, FL) -- The man charged in the murder of Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor is taking the stand in his own defense. Eric Rivera, Junior is the first of five defendants to go on trial for the 2007 robbery and murder inside Taylor's South Florida home. Rivera testified that he doesn't know who hatched the plan to break into Taylor's house and said he stayed in the car while the robbery took place. Rivera was 17-years-old at the time of the killing and faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
