(Edina, MN) -- Sales of existing homes in the Twin Cities are up from last year, but not by much. The latest figures from the Minneapolis Association of Realtors shows closed sales in October were one-point-nine-percent higher than a year ago. Median sales prices jumped by eleven-point-seven percent to 195-thousand dollars and new listings were up just over 15-percent. The association adds the partial federal government shutdown had a "modest impact on borrowing," and typically affected USDA and VA borrowers.
