Authorities Searching For More Carrying Rare African Virus

(Washington, DC) -- Federal health officials are looking for any travelers who may have been exposed to a rare African virus. An unidentified Minnesota man was diagnosed with Lassa fever last week. He's in stable condition. The Centers for Disease Control want to know if any passengers on his plane were exposed. Lassa fever is common in west Africa. The disease can cause fever, confusion and severe bleeding.
