Arthur Roaring Off Northeast Coast

(Miami, FL) -- After raking coastal North Carolina with 100 mile per hour winds, Hurricane Arthur is moving across the Northeast U.S. National Hurricane Center spokesman Dennis Feltgen says as of 5 p.m. Eastern time, the center of the storm was south-southwest of Chatham, Massachusetts.
Thousands of customers remain without power in North Carolina and part of State Route 12 is under water between Cape Hatteras and the northern Outer Banks.
