(St. Paul, MN) -- Amtrak is stopping in St. Paul for the first time. The capital city's Union Depot has been restored and welcomed in the first Amtrak train yesterday, 43 years after the last passenger trains from Burlington Northern ended service in the city. St. Paul is now on the Empire Builder route from Chicago to Seattle. The first Amtrak train to ever stop in St. Paul arrived more than an hour behind schedule yesterday.
