(Krasnaya Polyana, Russia) -- The United States pulled off a sweep of the men's ski slopestyle event early Thursday morning. Joss Christensen posted a 95.80 in his first run that held up the rest of the way as he grabbed his first Olympic gold medal. Gus Kenworthy scored a 93.60 on his second and final run on the course to slide into the silver medal. Nicholas Goepper earned the bronze after a 92.40 on his first run. Goepper came in as the reigning two-time champion of this event at the Winter X Games while Kenworthy was fifth and Christensen was sixth last month in Aspen.
