(St. Cloud, MN) -- University of Minnesota-Duluth student Alyssa Lommel is out of the hospital after more than two months. On her family's CaringBridge website, her mother Teri Lommel said Lommel was released from St. Cloud Hospital on Monday and will continue to work with nurses, physical therapists and doctors. The student nearly froze to death and underwent several amputations after falling asleep in subzero temperatures on her neighbor's porch in early December.
