All Riders Aboard Six Flags Coaster Rescued After Mishap

(Valencia, CA) -- A Southern California theme park is investigating a roller coaster mishap that left two dozen riders stranded up to 40 feet in the air for hours. Four people were hurt, two seriously, when a car on the Ninja roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain north of Los Angeles apparently hit a tree branch. Rescue crews had to save stranded passengers in the car, some of whom waited over two hours to be brought to the ground. All of the riders were rescued just before 9 p.m., some three hours after the accident happened.
