Alan Freed's Remains Leaving Rock Hall

(Cleveland, OH) -- The remains of America's first rock-and-roll DJ are being removed from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Museum President Greg Harris says an urn with Alan Freed's ashes will be returned to his family today, calling it an inappropriate way to honor his legacy.
Alan Freed's son told CNN his father was being "evicted" from the Rock Hall, and he'll be looking for other sites in Cleveland to permanently memorialize his influence.
