AIG Head To Step Down Due To Terminal Cancer

(Undated) -- The head of American International Group will be stepping down early after learning that his cancer has worsened. AIG's Bob Benmosche told Bloomberg News recently that he only has nine months to one year to live. The 70-year-old president and CEO had planned to step down early next year. Peter Hancock will take over the reins at AIG on September 1st.
