Record Set For Roadside Assistance Calls For AAA Minnesota

(St. Louis Park, MN) -- Triple-Minnesota responded to roughly three-thousand calls for roadside assistance on Monday when temperatures reached an incredibly cold 23 degrees below-zero. According to auto club spokeswoman Gail Weinholzer, that topped their old record of 25-hundred from February 2007. Triple-A released the Monday numbers yesterday and noted the number of calls for help had dropped sharply by Tuesday morning. They abandoned the policy that the first call get the first help during the cold snap in favor of sending out assistance based on priority.
