Vikings Planning Big Party For End Of Metrodome Era

(Minneapolis, MN) -- A big party is in the works for this weekend to close out the Metrodome era of the Minnesota Vikings. The team will hold a "Last Season, Last Call" event for season ticket holders on Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the stadium. The festivities will allow fans to take photos on the field and in the locker room and hear from the likes of Adrian Peterson, Matt Birk and Hall of Fame coach Bud Grant. The Vikings will host the Detroit Lions on Sunday in the final game at the Metrodome, which will be replaced in 2016 with a new stadium.
