Two Winning Tickets For $636 Million Mega Millions Jackpot

(Undated) -- Two winning tickets matched all the numbers in last night's massive Mega Millions drawing. One was sold in California, the other in Georgia. The jackpot was worth a staggering 636-million dollars. The lucky numbers were 8-14-17-20-39 with the megaball of 7. The next drawing in the multi-state lottery takes place this Friday. At least 15 million dollars will be on the line then.

The people who didn't win the Mega Millions lottery last night may turn out to be the lucky ones. California Finance expert Kimberly Foss says the sudden wealth can be difficult to handle for numerous reasons.
She says some people who win money develop "Sudden Wealth Syndrome" which is the loss of the concept of cash. One winning ticket in last night's drawing was sold in California, while the other was purchased in Georgia.

There was some confusion over last night's half-billion dollar Mega Millions lottery.  First there were reports of two lucky winners, then the multi-state lottery's website noted that the jackpot was being rolled over again, with the grand prize in Friday's drawing  worth an estimated 950-million bucks.  Then came the backtrack.  Turns out two winning tickets were sold and according to megamillions.com, the jackpot has been reset to 15 million dollars.  One of last night's winning tickets was sold in California, the other in Georgia.  The jackpot was worth a staggering 636-million dollars.
