Lupus-Related Rumors Follow Selena Gomez Tour Cancellation

(Undated) -- Rumors are surfacing about Selena Gomez' health after the singer decided to cancel the Australian leg of her "Stars Dance" tour. Someone claiming to be an insider has told gossip site Popdust.com that Selena is suffering from Lupus - an autoimmune, inflammatory disease that attacks the body's organs. It's common among black and Hispanic young women, and while there is no cure, most sufferers live long lives. The pop star's reps have refused to comment on the matter, however. The rumors arise shortly after a tour-cancelling statement from Selena, who said she wanted to "spend time on [herself] in order to be the best person [she] can be."
Meantime, the 21-year-old has been enjoying the holidays with her family, and even spent Friday in Las Vegas to be in the audience for Britney Spears' first show at Planet Hollywood.
