Thousands Still Without Power As Another Storm Heads to Northeast

(Undated) -- An estimated 30-thousand people from Michigan to Maine and into Canada are still without power as a new round of snow and cold gets ready to hit the Northeast. Many people in the region who spent Christmas without electricity are hoping to at least be able to ring in the New Year with the lights on. Emergency officials in Maine say it could be as long as next week before some parts of the state get electricity back if they get more snow and ice. A new storm is expected to hit New England Saturday night, bringing more snow through Sunday.
