(Washington, DC) -- Shezanne Cassim is expected to be released by the end of the week from prison in the United Arab Emirates to return to Minnesota. The University of Minnesota graduate was sentenced last month to a year in prison for making a video spoofing the youth culture in Dubai and has been in prison in the U.A.E. since April. A State Department spokesperson tells the "Star Tribune" that the Woodbury man might be back on American soil as early as tomorrow. The 29-year-old was convicted of violating a cybercrimes law passed after his video was made.
