President To Meet With Maria Shriver About Working Moms

(Washington, DC) -- President Obama will meet with journalist Maria Shriver today to discuss a report on the economic struggles of working mothers. The President is expected to discuss a new "Shriver Report" that claims some 42 million women are so close to the edge of economic disaster that one significantly expensive problem could ruin them. Shriver is pushing for a higher minimum wage and more economic equity for women, who she says make up two-thirds of breadwinners in U.S. families but make only 77 cents on the dollar compared to men.
