Report: Paul Rudd In Talks To Star In Marvel's "Ant-Man"

(Undated) -- Paul Rudd may be the next actor to bring a Marvel superhero to the big screen. According to "Variety," he's in early negotiations to star in the upcoming comic book adaptation "Ant-Man." The "Anchorman 2" actor was considered a front-runner for the gig along with Joseph Gordon Levitt. Marvel, however, has yet to comment on any of the casting rumors. "Ant-Man" is expected to hit theaters in the summer of 2015 with Edgar Wright on board as director and co-writer with Joe Cornish.
Ant-Man -- a.k.a. Henry Pym -- is one of the original "Avengers" in the Marvel comic book series. However, he's yet to make an appearance in any of the "Avengers"-related movies, which have instead focused on the likes of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and the Hulk.
