(Washington, DC) -- There's a budget deal taking shape on Capitol Hill. NBC reports Republican Representative Paul Ryan and Democratic Senator Patty Murray are quietly working out the details of a possible two-year budget agreement. The deadline for lawmakers to come up with a budget is December 13th and the report says both sides are optimistic they can get a deal done before then. The report cites sources familiar with the negotiations saying the two-year budget would cover fiscal years 2014 and 2015. The report says the deal would set the top line budget number for both years, possibly in the 990-billion-dollar range.
