Brad Pitt Apologizes For Rotting Wood Complaint In Post-Katrina Homes

(New Orleans, LA) -- Brad Pitt is trying to make it right for storm victims he helped build homes for through his Make It Right foundation. The organization has been hit with complaints that some of the wood in the structures of the homes has rotted. According to the "Advocate," Pitt's Make It Right has promised to replace all the wood used to make the homes for New Orleans residents left homeless after Hurricane Katrina. They're also threatening to take legal action against wood manufacturer TimberSIL. The wood company tells the "Advocate" it is looking into the complaints.
Pitt, meantime, is apologizing for the situation. In a statement, the Hollywood actor says "Where we find innovative products that didn't perform, we move quickly to correct these things for our homeowners."
