Blizzard Will Stretch From NYC To Boston

(Nashua, NH) -- A major snowstorm is taking aim on parts of the Midwest and Northeast. Meteorologist Rob Carolan says the Northeast will get the brunt of the storm.

Forecasters say more than 70 million people will be affected by the first big winter storm of 2014. People returning from their holiday destinations should plan on travel disruptions. More than a foot of snow is forecast in areas of Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. Around six-to-12 inches could blanket New York City. The entire New York City area is under a winter storm watch through tomorrow.
