(Kabul) -- The State Department is confirming that three Americans are dead after a suicide bombing and shootout at a restaurant in Kabul, Afghanistan. The White House and State Department are condemning the attack, which killed an estimated 21 people, including four UN workers. The bomber set off his explosives at the restaurant's gate last night and two armed men then opened fire inside. The Taliban is claiming responsibility, calling it retaliation for an airstrike in Parwan province this week. The attack is one of the deadliest against foreign civilians since the war began in 2001.
