Conditions Should Improve As Storm Moves Away

(Nashua, NH) -- Things should get better for travelers and others affected by the winter storm moving across the Northeast. However, meteorologist Gary Best says some areas will continue to get some precipitation.
Parts of the East Coast are expected to get up to a half-inch of ice today, but temperatures are expected to warm and melt any accumulations. Best says a new cold front will come in and drop temperatures while a new system will form in the Mid-Atlantic. This will bring up to four inches of snow in portions of northern Maryland, southeastern Pennsylvania, portions of New Jersey and southern New England.
