(Oakland, CA) -- Officials with Children's Hospital Oakland have reached an agreement with the family of a brain dead girl to have her moved to another facility. According to a report in the "San Francisco Chronicle," Jahi McMath can be moved to the unspecified facility while remaining on a ventilator. The agreement came as a result of proceedings in Superior Court this morning. McMath was declared brain dead by three doctors following complications from a tonsillectomy nearly a month ago. Her family has been fighting to keep her on a ventilator while they try to arrange for another facility to care for her.
