Mourners Scramble For Mandela Memorabilia

(Johannesburg, South Africa) -- South Africans and tourists are flooding Johannesburg searching for mementos of the late Nelson Mandela. Memorabilia bearing the likeness of the former South African president and civil rights leader has been flying off shelves since his death this week. Mourners are buying up keepsakes including books, T-shirts, bracelets and even ostrich eggs. The multi-colored shirts often worn by Mandela are among one of the most popular items. A mustard and orange shirt is going for more than 40-dollars.
Mandela died at 95 after a long battle with illness. He is beloved by millions in South Africa for his decades-long struggle against the country's apartheid rule.
