11 Dead In Wrong-Way Crashes In Florida, California

(Undated) -- A 21-year-old woman is under arrest in connection with a wrong way crash that left six people dead in Southern California. The woman is being held on suspicion of felony drunken driving and felony manslaughter. Authorities say a driver was going the wrong way on the Pomona Freeway in Diamond Bar, California early Sunday morning when she smashed into two vehicles. Five people were killed in an early-morning head-on crash on I-275 in Tampa, Florida. Authorities say four fraternity brothers from the University of South Florida were killed when their Hyundai Sonata was hit by a Ford Expedition traveling the wrong way. The driver of the Expedition was burned beyond recognition.
