Subzero Streaks End In Chicago And Minneapolis

(Undated) -- Temperatures are inching back up above zero in the Midwest. The mercury climbed to eight degrees in the Windy City Tuesday, after spending a day and-a-half below zero. Minneapolis snapped a subzero streak of 62 consecutive hours Tuesday afternoon and it has gotten up to four degrees in the Twin Cities. Every state in the union Tuesday saw below-freezing temperatures. Hawaii's Mauna Kea recorded a temperature of 21 degrees.
