(Los Angeles, CA) -- Firefighters are gaining ground in the battle against a destructive Southern California wildfire. David Richardson with the Los Angeles County Fire Department said firefighters will be out to survey the damage today and try to nail down exactly how many homes were damaged or destroyed. Meanwhile, crews are working to further contain the fire, which quickly spread to more than 17-hundred acres Thursday. Three men were arrested for allegedly starting the blaze.
